I think we should be fine if this site is usable in some modern text web browsers I'm more worried about running out of space on my vps speaking of which try to avoid uploading images and if you have to shave them down a bit remove the meta data trim the fat from it
i see, maybe try to add that into the config or what have you on the asmbb
This message is sent from Netsurf browser,a small independent browser project similar to Dillo. I've come as far as opening the site, logging in and navigating to this topic. If you can read this post, that means that even posting messages works using Netsurf.

Oh, how much space do you have? Gigabytes or megabytes or less? I use a home server, so it isn't always up but disk space isn't a big problem.
I must admit that Netsurf has some serious rendering issues, but technically it does work, see here: https://ibb.co/GQKFQ9JD Uploading the image somewhere else to save your storage space :)

I have about 20GB or less and I'm already using 22% of it I've tried to free up more space with out deleting anything i needed but 22% was the lowest I could get the only way i could get it lower was to remove one of my services and i don't wanna do that
this is what it looks like on lynx
it works fine on dooble which is what I'm going to be usings for a web browser on OpenBSD from now on
